The Moravian

A new residential building in Old City Philadelphia on the site of
the historic Old Original Bookbinders restaurant, incoporating a retrofit
of several historic buildings, and construction of a new, 54,000 SF
connected residential tower.This project uses one of the area's
few car elevators for this development.

Lit Brothers Department Store - Mellon Independence Center
Philadelphia, PA
The Lit Bros. Dept. Store, a landmark architectural structure in Old City,
was an abandonded, 1,000,000 SF structure, vacant for seven years.
Severe water intrusion and decay in the steel members
presented intense challenges, as did the facade restoration.

Fairmount Water Works
Philadelphia, PA
At the Schukyll River's edge, designed by Frederick Graff,
the WaterWorks are one of the most romantic collection of buildings
in Philadelphia, along with being an architectural masterpiece.
Built between 1819 and 1922, it is comprised of a dam,
pumphouse and resevoir with classical lines and feeling
which were renovated for future use as a restaurant,
the balance of the complex for future museum space. |

Divine Lorraine Hotel
Philadelphia, PA
One of the most opulent and best-preserved
Philadelphia apartment houses of the latter
19th century, the Lorraine is an early,
steel-framed high-rise built in the
French Reniassance style.
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. |

Temple University Baptist Temple
Philadelphia, PA
Built in 1891, designed by Thomas P. Lonsdale in the
Romanesque Revival Style, Baptist Temple is a
Philadelphia Historic Commission-certified Historic Structure.
The 39,500 SF building's 90 ft roof trusses had failed
and were repaired, along with the slate roof and exterior masonry,
in preparation for the final interior renovations as a
multimedia performance space. |
